Who We Are
The NTSB Caucus (official name - the New Trier Township High School District 203 Board of Education Caucus) is a nonpartisan group that was formed in 1954 to interview, vet, and endorse candidates for the New Trier High School Board of Education. Members of the NTSB Caucus are called “delegates”, and they are selected from each of the 6 New Trier “sender districts.” The sender districts are all of the K-8 public school districts located in New Trier Township that feed into New Trier High School: Avoca District 37, Glencoe District 35, Kenilworth District 38, Sunset Ridge District 29, Wilmette District 39 and Winnetka District 36.
The NTSB Caucus is composed of 47 volunteer delegates from the sender districts plus two New Trier High School students selected by the Student Council. Once the NTSB Caucus is convened, delegates represent the entire New Trier Township community, not just a single sender district.
The NTSB Caucus' consistent endorsement of high-quality candidates over the past 70 years, on a nonpartisan basis, has led to the continued strength of New Trier High School and its Board.
